Our organic hotel

Our Biohotel zum Bären lies in the heart of Rothenburg – just 50 meters from the market square.  Our unique accommodation in two historical buildings offers you everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

The Reception, wine-tavern and restaurant are in the main building. Breakfast is served in our restaurant.

Our neighbouring guesthouse has a parking lot, a small garden with chairs and a sheltered corner where smoking is allowed.

Our 25 Double rooms and 1 single room are all non-smoking rooms and each room has a television as well as a bathroom with a toilette and a bathtub. 

Due to environmental reasons we abstain from minibars in the rooms. In replacement we offer a small room on the first floor in our guesthouse (which is on the opposite side of the Hofbronnengasse – just 10 steps away from the main building) with drinks and snacks.

Our aim: We try to create a sustainable economy by using environmentally friendly technologies and we serve food that is 100% organically produced. We build and decorate with natural materials, our electricity comes from regenerative sources and we save energy where possible!        

We use a lot of fair trade products to support and help developing countries.

We dream of a healthy world for all its inhabitants!
